Definition

Micro-Blog - Service that allows users to send and receive short messages via the Web, instant messaging software, or with mobile phones. “What are you doing” messages are routed among networks of friends.

Students and professors can use mirco-blogs to communicate with each other informally. Practice groups can use micro-blogs to check in with each other and ask quick questions.
