Microforms
The IIT Downtown Campus has a collection of hundreds of thousands of microfilm and microfiche documents on the 6th floor of the library. These documents are labeled "DTC Microforms (6th Floor) (Non Circulating)" in the Library catalog. To provide access to these documents, there is a reader machine located in the northwest corner of the 6th floor.
Library staff can provide printed or scanned copies of microforms for any DTC faculty, student, staff or subscriber. We do not provide printers or scanned copies for the general public. Request prints or scans of microform documents at the Circulation Desk. Prints or scans are usually provided within 24 hours, depending on staff availability.
