10th Floor - Berkson Reading Room & Illinois Room
Named in honor of I. J. Berkson, distinguished Chicago-Kent alumnus from the Class of 1918, the Berkson Reading Room is modeled after traditional reading rooms of the nineteenth century and holds the Library's reserve collection. The open reserve collection includes the most current edition of major hornbook and treatise series. Materials from the reserve collection are selected by reference librarians and faculty specifically to support the Chicago-Kent or Stuart curriculum. The Berkson Reading Room also houses the Library’s Illinois Law Collection. Materials in this space are identified in the catalog as in location “DTC Reserve Room (10th Floor)”.
