Each permanent full-time faculty member has a librarian assigned as his or her liaison to the Downtown Campus Library. Librarians are professionally trained researchers who will help with questions about library services and procedures and with other information needs, including:
- Locating library materials for class readings and research
- Advice on online search strategies and resources
- Current awareness
- Access to materials in other libraries in the area and around the country
Liaisons strive to anticipate professors' research needs and to develop the Library's collection in response to curriculum changes and faculty interests. Library liaisons will work with research assistants to focus their research strategies and efforts on behalf of professors.
Professors should feel free to contact their library liaisons at any time with questions about the Library or requests for assistance.
