Using EBSCO Business Source Premier
to Find Company & Product Information

Advanced Limits

Advanced Limits probably give you more options than you need – if you make your search too specific, you may not find anything that matches your limits. Decide what you really need and experiment with different combinations if your search doesn’t find enough results

• The Full Text limit helps if you don’t have time to look for print articles
• The Date limits helps if you need very current information
• The Document limit can help you find a specific kind of study

Many of the limits are under “more options”

 

• The Publication limit matches the filters you can use in the Basic Search

 

Some limits make your search “smarter” by telling the database what you’re looking for:

• Product name
• Industry Code
• Company/Entity

 

If your search doesn’t find anything, you’ll get an error message and be taken back to adjust your search fields & limits.
